Reed-Keppler Park & Illinois Prairie Path

Help us welcome Fall at West Chicago’s Fit4Fall 5k!!! The 5K & 1 Mile Youth Race will start and finish at Reed Keppler Park by Zone 250 at 201 West National Street, West Chicago. This is a 5K Certified course on the Prairie Path! We will have a fun post-race event that you won't want to miss!

Registration & Fee Structure

  • 5K Run Adult (18 and older): $35.00

  • Early Bird 5K Adult: $30.00 (closes Jun 30)

  • 5K Run Student (17 and under) $15.00

  • 1 Mile Youth Run (10 and under) $5.00

5K runners will receive a Fit4Fall 5K custom medal and Fit4Fall 5K shirt. The first 100 to register will receive a swag bag filled with goodies!

5K runners that register prior to September 6 will receive a free waffle with unlimited toppings from All Belgium Waffle that will be at the post-race event!

Families running with 4 or more people will receive $5 off the total at check out!

*Must register by August 23rd to be guaranteed your shirt/size*

Age Groups and Award Categories (In-Person Participation):

5K Trophy: One Overall Male and One Overall Female Winner

5K Medals: All participants will receive a custom Fit4Fall 5K medal post-race

All participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run (10 & under) get a Finisher's Ribbon post-race


Race Day Activities

  • All Belgium Food Truck will be at the event! All 5K runners that register before September 6 will receive a free waffle post-race. Will you treat yourself to the Fit4Fall 5k signature waffle or choose from their unlimited toppings?! Waffles for purchase will be available for bystanders or those that register after September 6.

  • All 5K runners will be entered into our Race Day Raffle!! Prizes to be announced soon.

  • Race photos! SMILE :) Photos will be posted after the event.

  • Health and wellness vendors.

  • Post-race refreshments and snacks.

  • Pre and post-stretching and massage by Athletico.

  • More to be announced soon!

Race Day Registration will be at Reed-Keppler Park (250 W National St, West Chicago, IL 60185) west of the ARC Center under the Healthy West Chicago tent. Please park at Turtle Splash. Race day registration fee is $40.00 for all runners. Day of registration will close at 7:30am.

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick Up: Thursday, September 19 from 5:30-7 PM at the ARC Center at the West Chicago Park District (201 W National St, West Chicago, IL 60185). In-person registration is available during packet pick-up.

We are unable to ship packets/shirts.
