About the Program
West Chicago residents are invited to an in-person garden education program with Healthy West Chicago. Our programs will be covering topics that include gardening tools, starting your garden early, growing your own mini garden (with free supplies!), and much more!

Interested families may choose from the events below to register their families for an event.
Event Cost
All classes are free of charge to all the live and/or work in West Chicago. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Vegetable Gardening Program
Learn the basics of vegetable gardening: preparation of the soil, choosing the right location and selecting plant varieties to help you successfully grow your own vegetables.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take 3 seed packets of non-GMO seeds to plant and there will be a drawing for a foldable gardener stool.
