About the Program
West Chicago residents are invited to an in-person garden education program with Healthy West Chicago. Our programs will be covering topics that include gardening tools, starting your garden early, growing your own mini garden (with free supplies!), and much more!

Interested families may choose from the events below to register their families for an event.

Event Cost
All classes are free of charge to all the live and/or work in West Chicago. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Winter Sowing

Learn this easy method of seed starting. Seeds are planted in "mini greenhouses" during the cold winter months, germinate outside, and are ready to transplant once the ground thaws.

Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win one of two seed starter kits!
