About the Program
West Chicago residents are invited to an in-person garden education program with Healthy West Chicago. Our programs will be covering topics that include gardening tools, starting your garden early, growing your own mini garden (with free supplies!), and much more!

Interested families may choose from the events below to register their families for an event.

All classes are free of charge to all the live and/or work in West Chicago. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Topic: Microgreen Planting
Come and learn a bit about microgreens and how easy they are to grow at home. Then, plant some seeds in your own free microgreen garden kit. They will be ready to harvest and add to your favorite salad or recipes in just weeks!
